What kind of exhaust is on this 130i?

Hey guys, does anyone know what kind of exhaust this guy is running? I absolutely love this sound. I've tried to ask him with no response however.

Thanks.

+1. Lots of zee German's put a 135i muffler onto their 125i's(nee 128i's). It sounds awesome. The PE also sounds pretty good. But the 135i has more volume. That's the tip off in this video. Its a 135i ESD.

I have a similar setup on my 130i (OEM 135i Back box + Resonator Delete replaced with BMW Performance Y-Pipe from the 135i):

Sounds great! Thank you for uploading that. So it is just the stock 135i muffler then? Why not the entire performance exhaust from the 135i?

I got the stock 135i muffler from a friend who had a 135i and upgraded to the PE exhaust at a very good deal (around a 1/20 of the price of a PE hahal).

I also prefer the look of the rolled tips of the stock cars. I like the increased diameter of the 135i tips over the 130i, but still prefer the satin chrome finish of the 130i over the black chrome 135i tips (if only such a part existed!)

Will just the 135i muffler be louder than the 128i performance exhaust?

You have the answer in #3: 135i "MSD + ESD" as Ze Germans say; mid and rear sections.

MSD = mid
ESD = rear section / muffler

The 135i exhaust is larger diameter. Just large enough that it fits over our cars' pipe. At one part or another you'd have to weld it on. But yes.

Endschalldämpfer = ESD

Mittelschalldämpfer = MSD

I also drive this combination. N55 MSD and ESD.
It's lovely!

I am not a fan of exhaust pops and bangs, but do not mind the slightly raspier tone.

swagon is correct.

The answer was in one of his other videos...

"135i Y pipe(straight pipe, like in a Perf Exhaust) and the 135i axle back exhaust. The Y pipe takes the place of the factory resonator."

Btw... Alex Hardt holds the fastest lap at the 'Ring in an e36. APEX now owns this blue e36 race car. But this was a wrap and now the car is white with race decals.
