Tilting up the moonroof
Does anyone knows if its possible to tilt up the moonroof but keep the cover from the inside completely shut? I hate the wind noise but love the style with the moonroof tilted up.
Thanks guys! |

If you try to close the inner panel with the roof tilted open, you WILL damage the inner panel mechanism.

I have to speak up. I just can't help myself. Poster #1, you have a $35,000 car and you can't spend 45 seconds to figure out how the moon roof works? Poster #2 has a $40,000 car and can't spend 2 minutes to realize that he's talking out of his ass?
I feel like you are the same people that put spoilers on front wheel drive cars. You people need to go away, sell your BMWs, and buy Prius's. |

There are various levels and types of 'enthusiasm' with our cars. Just because I'm not into rims for example that's no reason to belittle someone else's perference for enthusiasm.

Press the button in, and up she goes. Took me a while to find the option too.

Exactly, on both counts. They're called lip spoilers...

If you buy a Honda, you can crack the moonroof and leave the shade closed. Not in a BMW though.....

In my Mercedes ML320 SUV, I was able to crack open the moonroof with the tilt. There were also slits in the panel that slid to allow for air to flow through into the cabin.
I wish BMW incorporated that design. |
