Just a few questions:

-I went to install my HPA foam filter today (n55) and after opening and trying to reclose the stock air box I noticed the back right corner wasn't completely flush (didn't look like it was closed all the way) with the stock filter and foam filter, is this normal? I took it for a spin after the installation, no codes or weird sounds. Idle felt smoother however with foam filter.

-I know ive brought this up before but the clicking noise is starting to get to me.. Should I take it in to get checked at ? <--- N55. Its only at low speeds that I can notice and usually when im coasting in neutral.

-Lastly, do you think a dealership would bitch about a foam filter for my warranty? I asked my CA how they were on mods with warranties and he told me I could do absolutely nothing to my car if I wanted to keep my warranty....

Really depends on the dealership I guess. I work at BMW of Sterling (IT) and I was told by the service advisors that as long as the parts don't directly cause the failure, it wouldn't affect warranty.

best bet is to remove the filter before any dealer service. i'd be a little cautious about that filter, as well. the n55 has a MAF sensor, which can be adversely affected by excessive oil from the air filter. i've read a little bit about that filter causing problems with the MAF on the n55.

as far as your clicking noise, your car is brand new, it shouldn't do that. schedule an appointment, have a service advisor ride along with you to demonstrate the noise.

bms and k&n filters should be fine; i've never read about overly oiled filters from those companies

CP-E and Berk exhausts are both modular, meaning you can buy:

axle back
mid-pipes
complete downpipe back exhaust (axle-back + midpipes)

the midpipes for both companies delete the secondary cat. converters. the primary cats are in the downpipes. i'd recommend catless downpipes for maximum power, or dp-back exhaust for moderate power gains but awesome sounds!

in regards to loudness, this is my opinion (loudest to quietest):

-berk race exhaust (midpipes + muffler delete)
-cp-e non-resonated dp-back exhaust
-berk street exhaust (midpipes/street muffler) TIE w/ cp-e resontated dp-back exhaust

i cant install because the dealer said if i install a exhaust that eliminates the catalytic converter it will void warranty.
if i installed only the axle back on the n55 will it be loud ?

correct. n55 does NOT use secondary cats. sorry i didn't notice you had an n55. either an axle back or dp-back exhaust would be fine, since neither deletes any cats.

if you're trying to be louder than the bmw p.e.,

get the cp-e non-resonated dp-back exhaust. sounds awesome IMHO

everyone's systems should be louder then BMW performance.... Unless borla comes out with another Hush, like they did for subaru back in the day.

if you want loud, just get a muffler delete.

Hey Bryce, I got the Dp's put on yesterday. Car is a little louder for sure but I still want the exotic sound. I love the way the italian super cars sound if that helps you understand my taste! anyway, I was wondering, do you know if the cp-e exhaust has much drone?

Is there any development on an intake for the n55 yet? Ive had no problems with my foam drop in, I just want to get an intake in there.
