^Back in 2008 I was asked if my then new 135 was the new M3...more than once...

It always made me feel better about my purchase.

The general public doesnt care I guess is the point of this story...

Shame BMW didn't add a little something other than some numbers to make my car look different.
You know...maybe a freaking huge OEM wing or something?
That screams "This car has more testicular mass than yours!"
There is something called the aftermarket! So people can add hood scoops, wings, flames on the door panels, all that kinds of ricer crap. A lot of people who buy BMW's are NOT into that, sorry. So they made a car that can be liked by the general BMW buyers, the sort of people that usually don't run around talking about how god loves them and gave them thick, long meats and sausages and crap.

I am sorry, I can't take a guy seriously when he continuously rambles on about his junk.

Can you tell i'm bored at work ;-)
But you can tell that a GTI is a better version of a Golf right?
Well why can't the 135 be the better version of a 125 just by it's looks?

i can't believe i just actually spent time reading through this junk.

OP--put shiny new LCI tails on; thats all a 125/128 would see anyway. And as far as girls go, if you can't even get them in the car then there's no way your getting them home. You're doing it wrong; let her feel the power.

Hey Shah269 I found a pic of exactly what you need to do to give it some bling.

Also I think you should really take off the 3 from the 135i and replace it with a 2 from a 128i. maybe then people will appreciate what you have. Dont fuss over how it looks its how it moves that gets the attention. But without further adieu.

I know there are M sport 128s out there but they are quite rare.

Dude, really? (hint - fog lights)

My car is noticeably different from they random 1 series coupe in one important way - it has a 1Addicts sticker on the side window.

You're the second one to question what I wrote but it was asked as a question to the OP about whether he really can't see the difference. To me they are incredibly apparent and obvious. I quite literally wrote "You really can't tell the difference between this, this, and this?"

OP needs to sell his 135i, then buy a 128i and make it look like a 125i.

You guys don't have to deal with this in The USA but we have the 120i/d, 320i/d etc etc. Every economy engined car is available with M-Sport package making it look identical to any other model in the range. The E92/93 is way popular here, they look great, those big 19" rims, M-Sport package and fairly low looking...I then glance the badge or see this p1$$ a$$ single exit pea-shooter tail pipe and feel disappointed. To make matters worse, it's always these people drivbing like idiots trying to prove that their muscular LOOKING car with baby engine can be as fast as the hot models...I call this small engine syndrome and only comes with drivers of small engined BMW's, Audi, Mercs. I don't get it, if economy is your goal why buy an expensive car to begin with, I'm sure a Honda would be more financially sensible but I suppose they just love the snobbery of that BMW badge.

Anyway, slightly off topic but I agree, the hot models (135i, 335i) should have something more special. Not quite as extreme as 1M or M3 but something subtle you know.

Yea I agree. The lesser models shouldn't be offered with M packages. The M bits and pieces should only be placed in cars that have the performance to prove that they are worthy. Simply put, anything below the turbo 3.0l should not get M fascia, interior badges, etc.

+1!
Had an old lady the other day pull up next to me in her little 125 and start bragging how our cars were the same.
I was like...HUH!

I have had the same with the 22 yo ricky racer types.

Give me some bling that says...this car is not your car...your car does not have two spinny things in the engine which cost more.....and give me more HP than your car...

I guess, since you still use 125 instead of 128, we can only consider you "TROLL" and not worthwhile answering, have a great day!

Agreed. That simply didn't happen. I covered 30,000 miles in my 1er and none of these crazy things every happened to me.

I grow more convinced by the day that this guy is Catfish.
