Question Your Opinions...?

So I just ordered a set of these wheels found in this thread, thoughts?

BTW, they are the BMW Type M355 F10 M5 Style Wheels.

I think they'll look really good as they will reveal more of the big rotors/calipers.

Best alternative I've seen so far for the stocks. Also reminds me the gorgeous 19 inch options for the Z4.

Will this fit with no mods required to a stock suspension and tires set up?

May I also ask how much they are costing?

Interesting. I'd imagine they'll be at least as heavy as our stock wheels - like 26lbs-ish.

Outside of the extra .5" in width - this will be a purely cosmetic mod. Personally for the money of new M wheels from the dealer, I'd look for some weight savings.

Maybe you can convince a p-chopper to mock something up for you.

She's scheduled at the upcoming Bimmerfest as keynote speaker for a "MASTER CLASS" entitled: "BMW 1M: the poor man's M3 or the rich man's 135i ?".

However, due to an unfortunate misunderstanding during the printing process of the Bimmerfest programme flyers, the letters "CL" went missing in the description of her contribution.

I like them. A gunmetal finish would look great too.

Yes and they should also show brake dust less. Good choice indeed.

Sorry, aren't they the same size with stocks? 19x9 front and 19x10 rears. Where .5" larger?

Sorry wishful thinking. You are correct - same dimension (not sure of offset) as stock 1M.

The offset is within 2-3mm difference from OEM, so negligible.

I was just going to say that and as I worked my way down; then I noticed you beat me to it! My thought's exactly.

They actually looks really good...only reason I say it like that is because [at first glance] they seem more of a "classy" wheel style as opposed to a "sport" style (if that make sense). That's just my opinion, I realize. BUT, after seeing them on your picture (assuming photoshopped) they look really good! Nice choice.
