First Texan with a 1er?
Have any Texans gotten their 1 series yet? If so, what type and what part of Texas. Unfortunately I am still waiting

Excellent on Moritz. I'd called Classic on Saturday and they expected to get theirs midweek. I didn't even bother calling yesterday since it was raining. Who wants to drive a 300hp car in the rain? I'll check with them today since I work 5 minutes away.

Mine got in Thursday night. I test drove it today. I'll probably be taking delivery Monday or Tuesday. My CA told me BMW of Austin has delivered 3 autos so far. Mine is the first manual they have seen.

Classic in Plano has been handing out 1ers
My wife and I picked up our 135i Wednesday night and there were 2 others being picked up at the same time. I think they have delivered 5 now, most of them stick shifts to car club types like us.
I have posted on the general forum a question about spare tire jacks for those of us who want to take a spare along on a long trip. We have Monaco Blue, Premium and sports packages, along with premium hi-fi. The car drives well, but not as precisely as our 97 M3/4..... wish it did. We purchased the 135i through an order placed in December 2007, had no idea what the colors would look like, or if I would even fit (I am 6'2"). I fit, so we will keep it, just wish the steering was a bit more precise like our M3. The M3 is now for sale given the 135i has arrived. |
