That is just fucked. Why do we always get completely ripped off in Australia?!?
The bloody key costs 160 Euro in Germany. Programmed + ready to go. That's around $190.- Blocking the old key is another 60 Euro. And we have to pay $750.- for it. .... For a grand total of 600 Euro you can have your entire locking mechanism, including 2 keys replaced over there.... |

Yeah, after flushing the key out with electrical cleaning solvent, it still doesn't work.
However, funnily enough it DOES work to start the car. So i can't get it to unlock the car, lock it or unlock the boot, but if i use my other key to open the car (read above my drivers door lock is busted), then i can use the damaged key to turn the car on.. urgh $580 to replace it, ouch! Might look into getting one from the Eu, and then just having it programmed here, anyone done that?
