Sorry but im new to this!
Will 255/40/18 snow tires fit the stock 18" wheels??? I am trying to learn how this works but am a little confused. Thanks

Thanks Guys! So the first number is thickness of tire. Second is width and third is size. got it now... I feel like an idiot, but everyone learns somewhere right?

for a 225/45 r17 tire:
225 = tread width in millimeter (divide by 25.4 to get inches) 45 = actually a % corresponding to the sidewall height divided by the tread width (for the 225/45 it means the sidewall is 101 millimeters from the edge if the wheel to the tread of the tire) 17 = wheel radius in inches.
