Best angle for photos

Since Ill be getting mine soon, I have to ask - what is the best angle to take pictures of a 1 from. Mine is a vert if it makes any difference...

Looking for ideas. What is your favorite angle to photograph the car from?

Thanks!

there is no best angle for the 1 or any car for that matter, its all relative to the viewer....

I provide inventory photography services for dealerships..... been doing it for about 5 years.

If you're buying a car, the best way to showcase it a 3/4 shot featuring the driver's side. The best way to show the car is a profile, or side shot. To rouse up the enthusiast, it's all about detail shots, or better yet, exterior shots from unique angles that higlight the contours of the car.

More than you asked for, but hey, I talk (type) a lot.

i love low rear shots...great angle of the rear of the car with the factory wide wheel stance esp with the LED strips lit up.

I've also played with high shots on the front 1/4..

Honestly, for a good photo the background is probably more important but I do prefer low to the ground and from the side at a small to moderate angle. I don't like crazy wide angles for the 1 either as it starts to look really awkward with the resulting perspective distortion.

I agree with that and it is a great point. My intent was a combination of opinion and experience of which DO highlight this vehicle's unique angles, etc.

IMO to take a very cool shot that highlights your convertible...... put the top down, get a ladder, and once you're as high as you can safely be, take a shot looking straight down at the car....
