midpipes...n55 vs berk street
Hey everyone! I have a chance to get N55 mids for $265 through my job. I have planned on getting the berk street full exhaust with mids/axle back. My question is this:
Are the Berk street mids worth a couple hundred dollars extra over the OEM N55 mids? I could go with just the berk street axle back and N55 mids and have the full setup for around $650 or so (on black friday sale for the berk axle back). OR i could spend about $850 for the complete Berk street(again, black friday deal). i was trying to google the diameters of each but that information seems hard to come by as far at the n55 mids go (berk street is 2.5" dual to 3" single Y). What are your thoughts/opinions/comments? |

I was debating the same a month ago, there should be almost no difference performance wise but the berk mids will be louder/deeper than the n55 mids, berks are slighty larger in diameter (1/4 in I think, not sure)
I went with n55 because I was going for quiet as I already have dps and it was stupid loud |

Plain and simple, yes it is worth the couple extra hundred.
$850 for the complete berk set is not a bad deal and if I wasn't already FBO I would've jumped on that. |
