Sealant and Wax

What sealant and wax could I use on a silver titanium to give it a wet look. And be able to apply it without a machine?

Here is a pic of my car currently:

+1 on the JetSeal109. Its almost the same as Menzerma though. Chemical guys also makes a "wet mirror gloss finish" that can go ontop of any sealant like their Jetseal109.

http://www.chemicalguys.com/Auto_Pai...gap_104_16.htm

I really like both products though(chem guys & Menz).

The biggest step to creating the shine is polishing the surface first. If you have a buffer I suggest a medium and light polishing combination like theMeguiar's Ultra-Cut Compound M105 and Meguiar's Ultra Finishing Polish M205. If you want to do it by hand just use the light polish (M205). Polishes remove oxidation, ultra fine scratches and swirls, that refract light instead of letting it pass directly through the clear coat for maximum reflection. Next apply a quality sealant and wax combo. I'd suggest the Blackfire Wet Diamond with Polycharger which is my favorite sealant (I also really like the Chemical Guys Jetseal 109). Then use a wax known to work great on silver like the P21S Concours Carnauba Waxor the Dodo Juice Light Fantastic Soft Wax. Both of these waxes are specifically designed for these lighter colors and helps provide that seemingly impossible wet look for this color.

If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask!

+1 on the Blackfire, you really can't beat it for ease of use and results IMHO. I'd also highly recommend ordering from Greg, great service and he will always patiently and quickly respond to any questions you have- before and after the sale

We do have a section in our Detailing Guide for hand polishing - http://www.detailedimage.com/Auto-De...hing/#hand-how.

If you want to do a hand application you may want to consider using the DI Accessories Polishing Pal as well.

Hi Greg,
the carnauba wax is going to need to be reapplied alot sooner than a synethic one right? Do you have any synthetic ones that you'd recommend for silver?

Yes synthetic waxes (aka sealants) last much longer than a carnauba wax. For silver paint I'd suggest either the Menzerna Power Lock Polymer Sealant or the Blackfire Wet Diamond with Polycharger. Both look outstanding and protect for months.

You said either the menzerna but didn't mention the other one? Was it the blackfire wet diamond?

Blackfire Wet Diamond is a sealant. I use it and I recommend it. I don't apply a wax afterwards since it looks great by itself.

Sorry for leaving out the other product, but you guys read my mind. I edited my response but just in case it was the Blackfire Wet Diamond with Polycharger. Again both are outstanding products that work extremely well!

ianf, In the United States we can't get Nanolex. I have relatives in Italy that ship to me.
Most of us cannot get our hands on those premimum products. They are the BEST by the way. I use the professional wheel sealant.
