JB3 or JB4 users
Hi guys, the obsession is already gathering speed and I\'m tempted to install a JB4 stage 1.
My question is has anyone got one in an N55 (or N54) and do they recommend it? Is it easy for the dealer to pick it up and will I get away with it, or should I pay loads more and get the less powerful PPK?

I have the stage one installed on my n55, and the stage 2 pending decent weather and some free time to install. Works great. I am not planning on taking it to the dealer with this installed as it is fairly visible.

Of course not, but does it generate codes the dealer can see?

There are hidden tuner codes that can be triggered, but BMS sells tools that you can hook up to your computer to delete them.
The JB4 has auto code delete also, though I'm not sure if it deletes the hidden codes. You'll have to do research on that one. All your answers can be found on n54tech.

I have the JB4 Stage 2 on my N55 and I love it. With my downpipe, midpipe, bmw exhaust, chargepipe, intake, and removing roughly +200 lbs makes for a very fun and fast car!!!
