Hankook RS3 vs Michelin Pilot Super Sport

Hey everyone debating between these two brands on a 225/40/18 and 255/35/18 setup. Let me know your opinions please!! Seems I may get more life out of the Michelin's. I know everyone praises the Dunlop Star Spec's but I'm looking for something a little less track focused.

Thanks!

The RS3's are just as track focused as the Z1SS. If you are looking for a longer lasting tire, I would look into the PSS.

+1 to ^^^^^^

I love my RS3's... But they are 140 Tread wear... they wear rather quickly..

RS3's are way to track biased.

If it's a track oriented car you'll love them. If you daily drive and it rains where you live you will hate them.

The PSS will be slower on the track but much better for every day life.

Thanks..........looks like I"ll be going with the PSS and taking advantage of the $70 rebate. Unless there's another comparable tire to the PSS?

Isn't the Continental DW comparable? I've read some good things about those and not quite as spendy as the Michelins

Loved my PSS out on the track this weekend, they handle really well. And if it rains like it did they're actually pretty good in the wet (much better than the RS3's I suppose).

Plus as a daily drive they're surprisingly quiet and very comfortable.

i love my r-s3. it grabs road really well.
i guess only downside would be spending $850 every year or so to replace tires.
