Charge Pipe Question

I just did a search and couldn't find an answer to this question. I am looking to get a charge pipe, but was curious if the mounts for the stock BOV, and for say a Tial BOV are different on the actual charge pipe itself. Reason I am asking is because I just wanted to get the charge pipe for now and then a BOV later on, but don't know if I can do this if the BOV mounts are different.

Thanks

We have diverter valves stock not bov. So u will not be able to use a charge pipe with a bov flange with diverter valves. U can just hold off and save another $200 or so and get all at once.

Isn't a diverter valve just a bov that vents back into the intake system instead of into the atmosphere? I'm not being a smart ass just wondering if we're thinking of the same thing?

Thanks for answering my question, too

In theory I think that's correct I'm not an expert myself. This is essentially what our stock charge pipes look like but this is a better quality http://www.burgertuning.com/chargepipe_N54_BMW.html

And this is a charge pipe made for a bov http://www.vr-speed.com/vrsf-chargep...i-n54-n55.html

All of the blow off valves hks, greddy, tial, and even factory diverters have different mounts if that answers your question... So if you buy a chargepipe with a for a tial bov.. Your stuck only using tial unless you find an adapter that goes from... For example.. tial to hks..

yes dvs just recirculate the vented air but our factory dvs are mounted differently than aftermarket bovs. so no you can't buy a cp with bov flange and mount factory dvs to it.

you can buy an aftermarket cp with factory style dv flanges and use oem dvs but then you can't swap out to a bov after as they are different styles.

dv style cp:

bov style cp:

I would get what you want all at the same time

Thanks for all of the help, you all cleared this up for me. I'll just have to order everything at once.
