2008 CPO 135i Vert 6sp or 2011 Vert DCT

I've been waiting for some 2011 verts to come up for sale in the area because I'm in love with the DCT tranny and the sound of the N55. A 2008 CPO 6 sp vert in my favorite color combo just came in at a nearby dealer. I have a few questions:

Will the twin turbos decrease reliability long term?

I love the turbo and the exhaust sound of the N55...does the N54 compare?

Are there any issues with the 2008 model year that are now fixed with the 2011?

And in your opinion should I just wait for a 2011?

If you plan on modifying for power, get the 2008. The exhaust sound is definitely more aggressive on the N55 as it does not have the secondary cats like in the N54, but you can easily remedy that.

Yeah the N54 has some major tuning capabilities, the N55 is great and sound awesome right out of the box.

I like this advice...went with the CPO 2008. AW over Coral red vert with a 6 speed. Its a BAD car!!

I also got a CPO 135 vert sport prem cw recently.

Mine's BSM w/savannah beige/black top. Love it.

sounds nice!! theres nothing like cruising with the top down the the exhaust right over your shoulder

I just got a CPO 2008 135i Black/Coral Red. It took me forever to find one I liked but I found one with over a year left on factory warranty and only 16k miles. I must say this car is amazing! So quick and fun to whip around town in! It really gets up and goes. Such a pure drivers car. So happy I got it!
