I had a B5 RS4, modded for 450bhp (I don't think you guys got the original RS4 in the US, right?). It was a real blast to drive, but my 390bhp 135i felt somewhat slow in comparison to when the RS4 was on boost. My point is that it was easy to get into trouble in the RS4, especially when it was damp, so don't assume AWD is the answer to your problem. A well sorted FWD car with less than 250bhp might suit you?

If i sold my 135i i would get another one with a manual or DCT. If i need space i would get a 335i Sedan with DCT. If i had the money i would get a 1MCoupe. If i hit the Lotto i would get a M3 coupe. If i hit the Lotto and needed space i would get a M3 sedan. If i was Filthy rich i would get an original M Coupe, 1MCoupe, M6 (actually love the Bangle Butt) and a black 2002 exacly like the one my father had when he was my age just to remind him wut he sacrificed for me.
