Navigation update $200
BMW has far not best navigation system, however updates look very expensive. For this price I could take Magelan or Muvi updated for 10 years in advance. I remember I got free updates of maps with my first BMW. When BMW introduce paid updates?

Well it was $175 for my Honda Odyssey, so BMW isn't the only one charging a lot.

I had nav on an old 528. They were charging more than that to get the CDs for a portion of the US. There were 4 or 5 segments, and had to be ordered separately.
200 for single DVD containing the whole US is actually an improvement.
