Looks sweet, how much did the wheels set you back? Any chance you could fit 235's on the front without rubbing issues? |

Not sure if 235 will fit at the front, apparently not. There seems to be very little you can do with the front guard, so I didn't want to push my luck, so went with 225. The tyre isn't that stretched IMO, looks worse on close up photos. |

How do you find the Kumho tyres? Hope you sort out the rubbing.

Don't know yet, haven't pushed the car too hard as going over bump at high speed is making me cringe at the moment. But the ride is better than 18in RFT's and they are fairly quite. They are cheap at around $200 each for 19 in tyres. Will report if they are cheap and cheerful or cheap and nasty!

Custom agency fee, terminal fee, admin fee and any other fees that Db Schenker could come up with. Some had said you might be able to avoid being slugged with these fees if you get the wheels sent to your address, I'm not sure though.

Just curious, why the smaller aspect ratio at the front, as opposed to the back?
Generally OEM fitment is the other way around with the smaller aspect ratio on the rear tyres.

hmmm, not sure about that, the front is 225/35, rear is 255/30, and they are very close to OEM diameter.

Haha awesome! Didn't think anyone around town would have those kind of wheels on their 1er. Actually come to think of it, I don't think I've seen any 1er with aftermarket wheels (except BMW86 from here).
Tried to catch up to you but you took the left at the lights and I was heading towards West End. |

Guess most 1er drivers are happy with the 18in wheels, as they are not bad looking, and there are limited options available for the car. I haven't seen any other 1er with aftermarket wheels at all.
