Yes. Had them on every bimmer I've had.
You can buy them for about $30. The OEM key is the same for every BMW.....very secure....

Mine was super secure as I couldn't find where it was. The dealer told me it'd be in the glovebox...............eventually found it next to the battery in the boot.

not 100% true, there are different 'codes' available (I think it's just a different number of splines in the locknut)

MickyD, my understanding is whilst different keys are available, as issued from factory, they are all the same. Key 35 if I recall correctly. Know this cause I lost my key recently when I accidently left it on the wheel.....
