40% Tint & LLumar On Front Windshield
40% tint on side windows and back. Didn't want too dark, don't want to have to roll down my windows to see well at night. I was looking for darker than stock for a cosmetic change, but mainly to get some heat reduction.
I also had LLumar Air Blue put on the front windshield. Brochure pic included. Basically, it helps keep the interior cooler. It doesn't darken or worsen visibility at all. 78% Visible Light Transmittance 43% Total Solar Energy Rejected 9% Visible Light Reflected 99.9% Ultraviolet Rejected I highly recommend the guy who did it. A nice German man working for "The Car Wash at Sunny Hills." He does house calls and worked on my car today (my day off). He's also an enthusiastic bimmer owner himself. He gave me a receipt and warranty card good for the life of the vehicle. For those of you not wanting any tint to your windows, this could be a great option for you to reduce cabin heat on those hot days.

Apologies for the bad quality pictures (all of the pics that I post), they're all taken from my camera phone.

I've had 20% tint for the better part of a decade and never once had even a slight deficiency in night time visibility...

Nice, I'm thinking about tinting the windshield as well since I've to park OUTSIDE, Zero Cover at work, every summer it's brutal...
I'm waiting on a better picture, and I've seen pic you shoot, you can do way better than that :P |

Ditto. I've done 20% Llumar on my last 5 or 6 cars...

Looks great Mega Man! 40% is what I was thinking of doing to my car when it arrives. Seeing your pictures is making me think it's the right choice for me. I don't want it to be too dark. The LLumar Air Blue on the windshield is a great idea. I'm going to check into doing that also. Cool!
