Best film experience I've had. Star Wars, 1977, Hoyts George St Sydney with "Sensurround". Blew me away like no film has since.

I saw it in '77 at Hoyts, George St, too! Relatively innocent 15 year old at the time. The opening sequence when the Imperial starship burst onto the screen was mind-blowing.

Yeah, the noise & vibration as the imperial cruiser (or whatever it was called) came over the top of the screen and then the engines came into view was awesome for a young 13 yr old bloke like me. The whole theatre shook. Bring back Sensurround!
