Solution to Mr.5 intake?

Has anyone found the solution to routing the plumbing for a Mr.5 intake (or something similar) on a 1M? I drive a 135i with the PPK2 auxiliary radiator like those found on the 1M which eliminates the ability to run the hose forward and down to the front air duct. I suspect there may be way to run the hose toward the back of the engine bay, then down and forward toward the air duct in the bumper. It's been a couple weeks since I've removed the bumper and don't recall what, if anything, blocks the path. Has anyone attempted anything like this?

I'll be looking to do something similar in the future once I get the aux. radiator put in.

Can you post a pic of how your aux. radiator connects to the rest of the cooling system? I'm ordering the radiator kit separately as a 1M part and not as part of the PPK2.

I'm basically computer illiterate, so I've never figured out how to attach pictures. It is actually difficult to see when the car is all buttoned up. Essentially, two of the standard hoses are replaced with new hoses that have branches that route to the aux radiator. If you send me your email address (in a PM) I can send you the installation instructions.

Interesting. With racing, I worry about anything not pulling cool air from the front of the car.

I remember last year when a Cadilac CTS-V was in our race group. For the first 2 laps, that thing was kicking our butts on the oval, but after that, it wasn't any faster on the oval than we were (and we had the car on the road course part of the track).

The slightly higher intake temps due to placement of the supplementary Mr.5-style intake is insignificant relative to the amount of pre-intercooler heat added by the turbos.
