Anywhere else besides CircleBMW to order? They only do "signature only" for orders over $200 and I'm never home. And I'm not allowed to ship personal stuff to my work.

If you miss a delivery, call UPS.. generally you can pick up the pkg from their distribution center, ...or have it delivered to a UPS store.

I know, I have to do that sometimes. And its a big pain in the a$$. I prefer to find a place that will just ship it normally like 95% of everyone else does.

What's crazy, is that your office won't let you send it there.

Update from me - no luck. RTE worked on it for hours. He was very frustrated apparently as he had been successful on some 135's in the last couple months. There was talk of "the" software coming out in Sept. signed - not holding my breath.

E88 1 Series Conv. - Accessory Alarm System

Subject: E88 1 Series Conv. Accessory Alarm System (p/n 65 73 0 444 090) Up-date

Date:09/09/08

Progman 31 should be released this week and with this we can inform you that we can now make the E88 Conv. alarm system available (however in limited numbers for now) as the coding issue has been addressed and corrected with this release mentioned here.

Unfortunately, it has not yet been corrected as planned for the E82 coupe (p/n 0 444 089). We will keep you updated on this issue as we receive additional information.

Thank you for your continued support.

My CA sent me that statement today also. Looks like the Alarm I paid for will soon be installed. Maybe another month. I guess those coupes are tricky.

I have 29.2 software, and my alarm still doesn't chirp. I am waiting until my first oil service to have the software updated again.

Long-awaited software finally came in last week and now I am chirping my brains out. It almost seems a little too loud. Probably a contrast effect from eight months of silence. ....onward

Just an FYI for anyone wanting to do this install with mud guards on...

I was able to easily install the siren under the left rear wheel well, without removing the tire and without totally removing the wheel well liner. I removed all nuts and clips, except for the three holding the mud guard in place. You can then pull the wheel liner down and access the compartment for the siren and you do not have to worry about taking off the mud guard screws.

I just got my alarm put in from Casey BMW. In all paid a total of 300.00 for everything. Only problem is that instead of 3 hours of work, it took them a whole day. It was alright though, I got to drive a 5 series around. But the alarm works well and it is under warrenty. I would say just call different dealerships and find the best price. Also, once you find a price you want call another dealership and let them know. They will try to beat it.
