What size is the nut that holds the wheel to the car?

In your posting you mentioned that the 3 t20 torx screws holding I'm the trim don't come all the way out...well mine did when putting trim back on and now I can't get them to go in hole...any pointers?

I wanted to add a few things to this DIY since I FINALLY figured out how to get the damn airbag off.

First, it's really not that hard to just disconnect the multi-function buttons from the old trim with the airbag wiring still connected...there is enough slack that you can kind of prop it up in the steering wheel a bit sideways if you feel more comfortable not disconnecting even with battery disconnected. I myself left the battery connected but did not disconnect the airbag.

Second, this goes for the Alcantara trim, not sure if any others but my stock silver and black trim had the multi-function buttons connected with two screws on each side, one at the top and bottom. That second screw hole is not present on the Alcantara trim and this would be why I was having issues as stated in my last post mounting the trim back on the wheel with the original 3 torx screws...because I was attempting to screw them into other screws!!!

Just some important information for those going with this option. The Alcantara trim looks AMAZING!
