Well, statistically, more women buy cars than men.
According to the BMWs product information booklet to salespeople, 3-series customers are 50% male and 50% females, with the average age at 30.

haha
I used to sit like that - relying on instincts and judgement for 90 degree turns and other tight moves, but my dad would always tell me it was bad. So one day I decided to try his "upright, up-high" position (what I used to call the "retard" position ) for a few thousand miles and since then I havn't been able to return to my gangster lean, because I'm too "perimeter conscious" and can't rely on my judgement anymore, only with my sight. Which sucks because in all the cars I drive, upright is uncomfortable after an hour or so. I will confess it greatly improves concentration and steering ability, especially in town. |

i was shocked to see that the vast majority of BMW drivers in san francisco are women. my cousin, who lives there, told me it's a normal thing, and that BMW kind of has the "chick car" statue there.
i'm glad to see any E90 on the road here in pittsburgh and when i see one, it's mostly 50/50 males/females.

Still only see the same two e90's maybe once every two weeks. BMW dealer here says they're selling like crazy but I never see any around town. I see a lot of more expensive cars than I do e90's (saw two Gallardos and a new F430 cab on Saturday, but no e90s). Still see a ton of later e46's. Tech market here is recovering in a big way for the past six months, so my only guess is the e90 is too "downmarket".
I see a lot more prius's (priui?) on a daily basis and I've heard you have to promise your first born just to get on the waiting list for those. |

I think I'm the only one with a white E90 in my area. Everyone else goes for dark colors, and most Italians like silver.

Mostly about 3-1 ratio of men to women. Although the women do tend to have the lighter colors.
I typically see more parked than actually moving. In fact, I think I saw another Mystic Blue on the road yesterday.

Also, Pakistan is part of the Indian Subcontinent (a geographical term, not a political term), and therefore, Pakistanis identify themselves as South Asian, just as Indians, Sri Lankans, and Nepalese people also identify as South Asians. Again, offtopic, but just for clarification. |

hi lucky strike. in singapore, we see beemers everywhere. 3,5,6,7, X3 and
x5 series all on the road. Only the 1 series and the E46 3 series compact are absent on our roads. The 7 series does not quite turn heads as it is very popular with the businessmen , only the rarer 6 series coupe and convertibles and the m cars are head turners . |
