Very impressed with BMW quality
After 1+ year of ownership no issues (unless you count the bulletin third brake light cover).
Anyone else have this type of ownership experience! |

I had to get my passenger side window re-booted.
I wish something could be done about the A-pillar creak, but from anecdotal evidence on 1addicts, that doesn't seem to be possible.

Zero
None, unless we count the jack pad scraped off by my own carelessness. Over 24-K miles. Knock on wood.

I had both headlights replaced by the dealership, due to excessive moisture/fog in the lights when it rained. (they are fine now) Also had 3rd brake light replaced. other than that, she's been a great car.

If you changed the poll to no problems, or one or more problems NOT counting HPFP I'd qualify as no problems, and I'm sure many others would as well.

Reason for repainting, was some cracks/scratches in the paint under the clearcoat = had to be there from the factory.

I've got about half a dozen issues that the dealer denies and refuses to fix. I'm going in for round two next week, and I'm hopeful, but as of right now I love the car but I'm pretty turned off by the number of issues (both minor and major) as well as BMW/dealership has handled them.

I've got a list. These are the things they can't find/duplicate: - A/C Recirc function doesn't work if the compressor is on - Driver's side mirror has double images at night (they checked it in broad daylight and said there's no problem) - Random missfire - Paint issues (I don't even want to talk about this one) - Tires leaking down because TPMS sensors weren't properly torqued (fixed that one myself) - Noise in the stereo (going to broach this one again now that it's a known issue) - Clicking at the front wheel when turning left (this one has gotten so bad I'm sure they'll fix it this time) |
