Is this the best car polish ever?

I've recently started using a different car polish, "Zaino Pro Showroom". I guess you guys have known about it for a while, but I thought I'd share anyhow. Frankly, it seems to do everything claimed. You need a tiny amount per panel, and it goes on so easily, leaving virtually no film. It comes off easily, too, but I do recommend going over the car twice with the polishing cloth, because it's so hard to see where you've been. The results are amazing- my car has never looked so glossy. It is simply stunning. They say the finish gets better after each polish, so I have done mine each time after each of the last three washes.

It's possible you might get a better result if a clay bar was used, but I don't like abrasives, no matter how mild.

Are you sure it's a polish and not a wax? Polishes are abrasive, clay bars and waxes are not.

Read good things about Zaino 6 years ago when I bought my 1 and have been using it ever since. Great results and paint still looks like new.

I guess it's how you define a polish. Call it what you will, it doesn't contain abrasives. It comes as an emulsion, and goes on in a clear film.

I presume clay bars contain clays, and while clay free of contaminants is very soft, it is still harder than paint finishes, and will definitely abrade surfaces. From my memory of clay mineralogy, some clays have a platelet structure, while others have a more blocky form. The former type could be expected to be found in clay bars.

My impression is that the Zaino product contains a synthetic agent, and is quite unlike the traditional wax products.

Pictures or it never happened.

PS- how long did it take for you to do your whole car?

Hmm that's subjective to the individual, but in the main if it works for you on your vehicle, circumstances, climate, budget and are happy with the results then for you it is the best polish ever.

ZAINO is very good. But not worth the price. Get same results with Meguiars.

Love my Zaino. It goes on easy, but to do all the layers of stuff it does take a while. Of course, I clay bar also each time I wax. No scratches as long as you're good about not dropping the clay bar .

I've been using it since I got my 1 and it just beads forever. Just don't wash your car with anything but the Zaino car wash!

It's older technology, if you will. The amount of steps it takes to achieve the "Zaino result" is unnecessary these days. First you have to use Z-AIO (it was Z1 back in the days), then a layer of Z2, then a layer of Z8, then Z2, then Z8. And all with silly cure times also. I don't know how anyone has the time to do it.

I use Menzerna Power Lock and I'm done. Fantastic results in not time.

I really though Zaino went out of business long time ago

Not worth the money, but if you're old-school and don't care about money....

My dad used to use that product on his truck (big rig). As for my 1, I clay bar, then use Meguiars Black Paste Wax (Mineral Gray) and I've had people ask if my car has more than 1 coat of clear... Lol.
