N54 dp inspection (jb4?)

I know it's probably been said. But will I pass inspection with a jb4 dp fix in NY? If not what are my options? Also the power wire to my Jb4 snapped anyway I can fix that or should I just buy a new jb4 harness. Thanks!

jb4 "DP fix" just autoclears the codes. You need an actual DP fix and then you can pass inspection after your adaptation period (50ish miles) is over and all the system's read "ready".

Oh ok, thanks a lot!! Is the fix expensive or hard to install?

I think it's around $100 and pretty much the same sort of install as the JB4. hijack a few pins on the ecu.

Remove it after you're inspected though. It will screw up you're fuel trim readings in the long term.

Also, Dp fix only exists for n54, not n55. Forgot to mention that.
