First you drive like my grandma and then one day you floor it Thatīs pretty useless way to do things. You should increase the stress and revs to engine gradually. You also can (should) floor it during the break-in without revving it to redline. Quote:

The performance of the 330 is amazing! I hit approximately 130 (speedometer was at 135) the other week. Definitely a rush. Although I did it with the rft's. I can't wait to replace them. I am sure the PS2's stick a lot better than the rft's.
I love the way the car moves and sounds after4,500 rpms :rocks:

WOW, thanks for the driving tip Did you not read my posts? I said I've kissed the 4,500rpm a few times, did I say anywhere that I'm driving as you said "like your grandma?" I do floor my car, just not pass the 4,500rpm limit.
Please don't make any assumptions next time you post, 'cuz you know when you assume, you make an ass out of u and me Quote:

Listen all these questions about how fast you can take a turn and what not is not a question you can not ask someone else, there are hundreds of other factors which the driver can only make. Which is were experience comes in. Any moron will tell you oh its a bmw it can take a turn 50mph faster then a honda, well the fact of the matter is that you can't. I know many people that have dont driving school and have learned how to properly corner and wat not within safe range. Now to give you an idea of what i mean, ill give you a few facts here. One, you need to know how much range for error you have. You have to think about if the back end goes out and you spin are there any obsticals that you can hit, cars poles etc. Also there are some 90 degree turns that you make and they turn onto a road that has 4 lanes so you have room to make the turn and go wide. Some turn take you right onto a one lane road with a center divider so there is little room for error. Again this is just one fact. I mean think with your heads people ok. Also if your under 18 years old and that is pushing it DO NOT attempt any of this. 2 years of driving is nothing. Now im not oging to answer anymore questions just know that i have done driving schools for alot of diffrent driving techniques and even that doesnt give you enough experience. its the everyday driving where you learn, when you put it to use. anyways for those of you that have brains just read this and absorb.. thankyou

I filled up my car today and took 4 of my buds for a ride. Definetly noticed the slower acceleration with an added 500 pounds in the car, but it wasn't too bad. Surprisingly, I was still able to get up to 120MPH on the long road near my house even with the car fully loaded with 5 people inside. I can't seem to figure out why I run out of room after hitting 120MPH both with just myself in the car and with 4 more people or 500 pounds extra when the accleration is noticably slower!? The more I think about it it could be the fact that the hills on the road are angeled at such that they propel the car more going east instead of west like I usually am traveling.
Either way, it was really fun to show my friends what my new car can do. They all started freakin' out in the back telling me to slow down when I hit 110MPH. Hahaha. It was pretty funny. They were impressed by how good the brakes were. Lucky for me, pander5 (member from this board) is coming over to wash and detail my car tomorrow (and get off all the brake dust -- haha). |
