Melbourne quality car detailers?

Hi Everyone
I am getting lazy in my old age and thinking about getting someone to polish one of my cars for the first time ever.
Any feedback on quality detailers would be apprecaited.
Thanks

I can't vouch for their quality as I haven't used them but: http://www.vipcarcare.com/ are sponsors of the FPV-XR Club of Vic and most of those guys are anal about the cleaning of their car. It would be worth a look IMO... and they come to you !

Yup, ony one place to go. Final Inspection! My high end cars only get washed by them and nobody else. 135i goes to the local car wash or anywhere I see when I am driving it. Sorry guys.

Looks like Final Inspection is well regarded.
Will give them a look next month as the bucket of bolts is getting a little tardy.

Thanks for all your help.

Just out of curiosity how old

Seriously though I too am tiring of doing this sort of thing myself, but still will not bring myself to let anyone touch any of my nicer cars in terms of washing/detailing...seen too many stuff ups and bad practices from 'so called' pros/experts to turn me right off !

Maybe when I hit 80 or 90 and my hands and arms are well and truly ackeing LOL

Reminds me of a quote I heard when I used to live in Sydney;
"Melbourne's a nice place to visit, but it's too far from town".

Yes, Melb. is truly great and a meca for all things car related

That place you mention above is just around the corner from where my parents live (and where I grew up of course) and on several an occaision I have seen 'nice' cars going round the block with what looked like the car cleaners rather than the owner in the cabins - nuff said

That is truly amazing - there must be alot of 35+ year olds getting/feeling lazy LOL

Seriously though, what I think it is, due to the severe Melb. water restrictions, car wash places have never been busy-er

Definitely no quality, but if you're into cheap slappers like myself this could be the car wash for you.

Drive past Kitten's regularly and see a few babes but not all the time, sometime I think you would be better of waiting at a set of traffic lights for someone to come by and wash your windscreen for $2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! similar lookers LOL
No thanks
