Do i have to drive like a grandma not to throw any codes and achieve readiness with Stage0 and DP Fix? I soldered some resistors and plugged them in pin 19/20 per DP Fix instructions and per Shiv O2 Sim @ Vishnu. I did not get readiness yet as the cycle didn't complete and people here don't know how to drive so I was on the gas above 3K rpm every time for past 4 days. Now i got 3 codes and CEL. I reset my COBB tune to map 0 and cleared codes Now i will drive like a grandma and check but any info is appreciated.

The readiness state should be there by going through the driving cycle or after putting about 100 miles on the car. I never followed the driving cycle myself, I just put miles on the car and it passed. Make sure you dial in the DP Fix, sometimes the standard setting doesn't give you a readiness state.

Also make sure you clear your codes before you do the driving cycle, doing it after resets the whole system and you will have to start from the beginning.

Ya seems ready now, but what confused me is the current drive cycle readiness. That is not ready until you drive enough miles within that specific drive cycle. I'm using Auterra DynoScan for windows to check that. The other tests show completed now. I will go in today and have them do the test and will post back.

Anyone know where to find a DP fix? BMS doesn't offer theirs and CP-E has been out of stock for a long time...

Has anyone actually been tested with catless DPs and the Cobb stage 2 tune?

On my previous Subarus with a DP the Cobb would not throw codes and would be in the proper readyness states, and pass all OBDII emissions tests in Maryland. My understanding was that the Cobb widens the threshold for the codes so that they never get tripped and everything looks good to the ECU and OBDII scanners. I thought it was the same with the BMW.

I'm running stage 2+ and I don't throw any codes. I have been running it for about 8 months now and no problems. Hope that helps.

Have you used an OBDII scanner to check the readieness state of your emissions sensors?

With the Cobb tune active your sensors will not be in readiness state. You need to switch the tune back to stock, which will then put the sensors in readiness state after driving a few miles. Normally this triggers a CEL, which is then circumvented by the DP Fix and will let you pass inspection.
