Compustar/Firstech autostart with drone app

So I recently had the firstech BM1 auto start installed by KS autotek in Philly. My criteria for the install was no additional key fob remote, no cutting. Steven at KS recommended this unit, pair with the drone app. Definitely no cutting, and no added key fob. It works great, 3 press of the lock and car starts, 3 press again and car shuts off. We all know how the stock fob usable distance is sub par. The best part is the drone app. I can be anywhere and start the car , check on if i locked the car, with the premium service I can even tell where my car is at. I highly recommend KS autotek they said they can install under 1 hr and they were on point, since I traveled from NYC for this. Clean install, cant even tell its there.

They also found a speaker mount (minus speaker) complete with what looks like a speaker harness. It was under the steering column, the panel above our knees. Looks like a 4" speaker would be able to mount there , my best guess.

That sounds like a horrible idea. How much time are you actually saving by starting your car from a distance? Seems pointless.

When you car is covered with snow and its 25 degrees outside... It's personal preference.
