Eventuri intakes from Evolve

Hey Guys
So it looks like Eventuri intake from Evolve is on sale by pre order:
https://www.facebook.com/EventuriIntakes
http://www.evolveautomotive.com/arti...elopment-blog/

Current offerings are - e46 m3 and z4m
The results are consistently 5 degree Celcius lower inlet temps

We should petition them to make one for us.
All that is required is to take their z4m kit and make the MAF housing fit our MAF and to join with our OEM half elbow like the RM Elbow or OEM pipe with muffler. The rest is simply to find a mounting point for the holding/stabilizer arm. We already have many air scoops to choose from.

I reached out to them, they have stated that they are focusing on putting their current development models into production.

What do you guys think?

I suspect it will be the best intake on the market for the car, and that I will be the only one interested in actually buying it.

No magic here guys, you could pay me to make it for you, if you were so inclined to do so.

JWT popchargers work in a similar fashion, using a venturi to speed up airflow.

Just so you know - You could do a Dinan style Intake tube into the duct area, but you could do a better job of the Airbox/Airscoop shape. I imagine it was done in the way it was because the Airbox has to be removed for filter changes.

There is also the filter element itself. I think DJ Apex fit a cone style filter in the stock box, though I'm unsure if it had a venturi on the filter to increase flow. The best part of this is you still have the benefit of the close stock box.

I'm saying all of that, and my Dinan is sitting in front of me, still in pieces waiting to be assembled.

As long as this has prove gains, and the price reflects the gains made (I'm not going to pay $700 for 5hp) I think it will be a nice piece.

Did some more reading and thinking about this, I'm sure we could make something like this, but it wouldn't be as pretty. Going to put my Dinan on tonight (hopefully)

I have been trying to get them to make an intake for the e82 for about a year now. If we can get a group to buy them I bet they will do it

If I could find RHD headers I'd consider it.

There is no kit or dyno from a N52, and therefore no claim of 14+hp.

14.2 HP on the S54 for this more budget oriented intake makes sense, considering the good CSL airboxes like Evolve's make ~20hp.

Looks like an aFe open intake with really nice carbon fibre. I'm skeptical to the 5°C drop in temperature over stock airbox.
