Lightbulb Any New Colors or other Changes for 2009-2010 135i? -RePost

:iono: Was just wondering if anyone has seen any additions or deletions of colors offered in the 09'-10' 135i? I get screwed up on what the year of this current car is, on the net you will see 2008 and 2009 like they are the same year; nobody really seems to know. Is the next year model a 2009 or 2010?

I really don't care too much, but am more interested in what will be changed or added to the next years model of the 135i? If anyone knows anything, please post it, and post pics of new colors if you know them too, thanks...

...Still stuck on my color choice. I run the gambit of the colors out there now and arrive back at 'black' or 'white'; they both look great on the 135i. A nice deep red would be nice or a more muted blue as well.

Marty  ...thanks.

Thanks, follow the link for good information. However, I'd like to see this new Space Grey Metallic color. Maybe a real pic of a 335i with it?

Are you 100% sure?

Space gray is awesome, IMO.

The document below is from UK, but should be the same in the US. From what I've read in some german forums, the new, hard disk equipped navigation system will get a fixed 9 inch display in the 1er.

Space Grey FTW! If that was an option I would have done SG/Coral!

aww a fixed display, i'm not sure if I like that idea or not. I do wish I had the updated Nav system. I kinda like my display the way it is now though.

I just picked up my Crimson Red 135 today and really like it. I have the Savanna Beige interior which has a lot of black in it as well and the combo seems to look great to me at least. Anyway, the Crimson is a very deep, lipstick red; I thought it was the same as my Bright Red (Hellrot) 2001 330 ci, but it is a much deeper red without the orange tinge of the Bright Red. I will post pics in the next few days after I get the tint on it.

Sad to see Sparkling Graphite go! I feel it's the best color for those who can't decide between black and silver. Space Grey is a nice color, but I prefer the darker Sparkling Graphite, which is also a chameleon color, depending upon the light and/or time of day.

Wow, I probably would have gone nuts choosing between Space Grey and Alpine White. Glad I didn't have to choose.

I prefer Alpine after having many other dark colors. SGM is way too dark for me, it gets dirty easy and shows swirls. Space gray is awesome. If Alpine wasn't a must for me, Space gray would be the next in line. If Le mans blue was offered I would also consider that. Monaco blue is way too dark. Crimson red looks great in person also.

Alpine white
Space gray
Crimson red
Lemans blue in this order IMO.

A fixed 9" display? That would mean a whole new dashboard.

Thats a huge screen, wow. That would make me reconsider the iDrive/NAV option, HMMM. Can't wait to see the real thing.:roundel:

Alpine white

Alpine is also my first choice.
Space grey is really HOT. First time I saw a 335i with Space grey and Coral and grey poplar I was HOOKED. BUT the 135i didn't offer it. Just the (TOO dark IMO) SGM. Alpine is still the only color I will get. Tired of dark colors, especially my NIGHTMARE black Si. Which looks great after I wash it. (for like 30 minutes)

They could replace the retractable screen by a fixed screen under a hood, similar to the 3-series, so the rest of the dashboard would remain untouched. But still this is only rumours from the internet, in a few weeks we will see if it's true.

Where did you get this information? I have my 135i ready to be shipped in early August. I'd be willing to canx it and wait for the '09 if I could get some validation. The only bad point, dealer here said price for '09s will go up this year...they estimate 3%; but he stated they prob estimated a little high.

Anyway...more info on the 9" Nav screen would be most welcome!

Nothing official, some guy posted this http://www.1er-online.de/fpost64421.html#64421 in a german forum, and it looked like an internal pre-announcement. It could be a fake, of course, but I don't think so.
