Another gas guzzling monstrosity from GM...what probably a Tahoe with a cadillac V8. Isn't this one of the reasons GM is going broke???

If I had the bread and the balls to show up at a horse show with one of those I would, it's probably pretty comfortable for a 600 mile weekend jaunt hauling a 5000+ horse trailer, wife, and two kids.

Not that my X5 doesn't do the job well, this would probably do the job better.

"available 22 inch wheels and generous use of chrome"

Coming soon to a P.Diddy video near you.

The design is not bad though. Problem is that caddys always seem way overpriced to me, I wouldn't be surprised if it clocks in near Range Rover Sports and Cayennes.

That's a 6.2 litre engine...chances are it'll go fast on the straight....faster than me anyway!

Could you imagine the gas that thing would consume pulling a trailer? Hey, at least the chrome accents would match the trailer... do you think you could fit 22's on that puppy? You could even fit the horse with a bulletproof vest to complete the image 50-cent style.

Cute girls btw.

Thanks! I love them.

That's funny, I already feel like I'm pimping at the horse shows with that chrome and white trailer and I never go to the show without a clean X5 with shiny black tires.....

Gas consumption is a moot point when towing.

Although the X5 is pretty good. It's about 200hp and 3.2 litres less than the Caddy!!!

Yeah, the Caddy is probably about 18l/100km when towing with that engine.

Big engine, but also excessive weight. If escalades get any bigger and heavier, those signs on interstates telling truckers they must use the right lane while climbing a mountain will have to be ammended to read "trucks and escalades must use right lane"

Yeah, no kidding. Not to mention the weight of all the jewelry around the driver's neck.

it will have the same dash as the pickup truck as soon as the truck gets redesigned. (1 year or so)

it blows my mind that people are so stupid to spend 70K on the caddilac when the EXACT SAME truck (same interior, same radio, same buttons and switches) would be 30-40 grand less from chevy

I also like the M3 side vents on the front fenders

caddy trucks are retarded (not in the good retarded way, in the short bus, bike helmet wearing way)

Thank god, I hate truck dashes, they are horrendous. Although they deffinetly have to loose the shifter!

Escalades dont see the highways. They revolve around the schools, the stores, and the salons......oh, and of course cant forget the occasional gun shop.

By the way, is it normal to be releasing a 2007 model already? Just a couple of weeks earlier and you'd be buying a 2007 in 2005.

Well, I guess they don't have a lot of work to do, being that it's a standard issue GM chassis...the only actual work of "redesign" comes in the form of door panels, hood design, m3 fenders, bigger rims with a cadillac logo...
