hmmm sounds interesting. But isn't there a group starting directly from Munich heading to Sella via the Hochalpenstraße? Do you start from Munich - or are you already in Berchtesgaden 2nd morning? |

Guys,
I'm heading from Netherlands to meet you guys but on this stage I still don't know where's the meeting point. Had only partial book the hotel and that's it. Will be good if we can have somewhere we can look what's the plan ... Will we have a kind of exchange contacts place such as a whatsapp group in where we could update each other or what? Cheers, Joao

I think Stelvio normally opens up from the Winter Sperr(Closure) in early June. They have to wait for all that snow to melt away - or enough so they can plow thru it. In June they hold a bicycle race(Giro) too about then. The first year we toured Stelvio in our Stelvio 1.0 tour we lucked out, since the pass was just opened up two weeks before and we had just missed the bicycle race as well. I would suggest to drive Stelvio during a weekday. Stelvio can be quite crowded during the weekends. Dackel

My thought as well to do Stelvio during a weekday. We'll be there for 3 weeks so that wont be a problem.

Absolutely. I had to skip the tour due business compromise and I'm afraid next year if you guys go same time I won't be able to join as the same compromise will happen around the same time. 2 weekends after will be perfect ..
