RB Turbos on the 1///M
Hi guys!
i'm going to buy these turbos next week. hahas but before i make the purchase, i'd like to ask those who have RBs on their 1M a few questions: 1. How's the clutch holding up? Anyone on the Sach Performance Kit? 2. I'm currently on the ER charge pipe with Tial BOV. is there a need to change the spring on the BOV? thank you for your time guys! hope to hear from you! |

I'd be very surprised if there are 40 Ones using upgraded turbos. I'm at 60k miles on my 2008 135, I plan to go RB or Vargas in a year or two. I figure at that point I can just call it part of regular maintenance..lol.

Any modifications to your engine or drivetrain can result in warranty issues. Enough said!
I laugh when I see people advertising their cars with a tune for improving drivability blah blah blah and then they go one to state the car is still under warranty.

Hello, I have RB in my 1M.
The RB has a very good performance and are installed just like a OEM turbos. There was no need to change the clutch nor have BOV. By the way I will relist my turbo kit RB this week. You just have to send 4000Km but I will send Rob RBTurbo to review his condition is perfect for sale. |

Sorry to revive this RB turbo thread, any one have experiences with installing RBs on our 1Ms?
My car's done 60,000 miles.. and just last week, some weird noises started coming out of the car, and there is a v high probability of wastegate rattle. It just means, TIME TO CHANGE TURBOS Hopefully those that are on RBs can come out and share |

Get a tune (and a larger intercooler and, perhaps, catless DPs)and you'll be very happy! Neil |
