Will Style 55 fit 128i?

I'm considering a set of Style 55 wheels for my winter tires. I've searched the sticky and the whole subforum, but I can't find anything regarding these wheels. They are 16x7, ET46 ( http://www.bmwstylewheels.com/bmw/55 ). My car is a 128i with the M-Sport package. My understanding is that 16" should work on my car, and the offset is OK, but if anyone is able to offer something a bit more definitive it would be helpful in deciding whether to buy the wheels. Thanks.

Well, I dug a little deeper, and as the E46 (non-330/M3) and the 128i both use 300mm front brake discs, I'm going to go out on a limb and grab these. I'll confirm or deny once I've got them and can test fit.

Interesting - can I ask if you're looking at these for a winter setup? People running 16" on these cars is quite rare...

EDIT: Gut feel says that they will fit based only on width and offset. Only unknown is if the barrel design interferes with the calipers etc

Yes, these are for snow tires. I prefer to run a minus setup in the winter, both for better snow traction with a narrower tire, and for increased sidewall height to soak up some of the horrifying potholes we get around here.

I've got the wheels now, so when I have a chance I'll pop a wheel off the car and do a test fit. They're OE wheels, and BMW hasn't changed their brake setups much over the years, so here's hoping they work.

If the offset is low enough, it should fit. Buy a cheap set of 16" wheels and find out.

Should not have a problem. I have 16x7" BMW steel wheels for winter with no issues.

Finally got a chance to test-fit the wheels. They're fine.
