Just bought last black on black zhp in America
Well folks, I have to say that I just bought the last new jet black/black leather zhp 2005 e46 in America.
Not an easy decision. I have given the e90 every chance, and believe me, it is a great driving machine, it has a very sweet interior. Somehow I just couldn't get over my love for the current model. Nothing wrong with the e90. Maybe down the road. I just wanted to say to all of you who have shared so much information, thank you. Jwocky, you rule! I will continue to check in from time to time. To those of you who are buying e90's I can only say that you are getting a truly great car. Luckily for me, I'm getting a great car too. I have dreamed about owning a BMW 3 series for years and I finally got it. I hope you all have amazing driving experiences. I really love the passion we all share for great driving. And this is one of the classiest forums out there. Good luck to all of you. I'll stay in touch. Drive fast. sparky |

You wont be disappointed! Remember its a Bimmer..if you do change your mind, DONT trade it in! Sell it! Never trade a Bimmer in..You wont lose too much $$$ on it, so enjoy it...Congrats..and post some pics!!

Thanks!
Thanks guys. Armen, be sure to wave to me as you pass. Very good. Again, no slam on the e90. I was obssessive about giving it a chance, and I never say never. I'm just lucky to be able to drive any one of these cars. Still the best driving machines on the planet in my opinion.
I'll be sniffing around here as always. I want to keep reading about how much fun you guys are having. Drive fast. Really fast. sparky |

mfstout, what kind of deal did you get. I'm looking at e46's also because I know dealerships will be offering them at significant discounts...and I'm always up for saving money. I hope you don't mind telling us the details of the deal.

I think the E46 ZHPs are destined to be a classic among the BMW cognoscenti.
To paraphrase BimmerJon: ZHP = Classic variant Jet Black = Classic color (though I prefer Silver Grey and Imola Red) ZHP + Jet Black = :rocks: Enjoy!

More info
Got $5600 off sticker. (And of course you save some nice bucks on reduced taxes.) I will probably have to pay about $500 to ship it from Massachussets. The deals are awesome but they'll be gone soon and the zhp's are really disappearing, at least the sticks.
And Roburado, I agree with you. I think that the e46 zhp is a very special car and will become a real keeper. Having one of the first e90's is also, cool, but not as significant in the long rung in my opin. Bozo, thanks for the advice. You are sooooo right. Drive fast. sparky |

Yeah no question the deals on the E46 sedans right now are crazy. They're going for below invoice. Its not a bad deal at all. BMW at Acura prices!
