BMW Canada charge $2000 for the sport package in the 335i coupe...

Sport Package
Includes: 18" Star Spoke Alloy Wheels - Style 189, Sport Seats (includes electrically adjustable seat width).

So, $2500 seem possible for the Msport package in the 135i...

Yeah I know it's possible...just doesn't seem worth it IMO...I mean the sport seats are already standard, 18's are already standard(only different style), so really they are giving you some "M" emblems...

But yeah...unfortunately I guess I can see BMW Canada charging $2000-3000 for emblems...

The sport seats aren't standard... Option Code 481.

oh my bad...when checking the ordering guide I was looking at the top part where all it says is:

M Sport Package
(135i Coupé only)

18” M Double Spoke alloy wheels – Style 261M, with mixed width performance run-flat tires
Anthracite roof liner
M Sport steering wheel
M entry sill, driver foot rest and gearshift knob (with manual transmission)
High-gloss shadow line
Available with complete Paint, Upholstery & Trim or additionally with exclusive M equipment:
o LeMans Blue metallic paint
o Aluminum Glacier Silver interior trim

So that's about $800(plus a $400 fee for the special order) for the seats...at least that's what the dealer was telling me when I was thinking about special ordering the seats only.

Yeah I know exactly what part of the order guide you were looking at. They should be a bit more clear about that especially considering how much some of these packages cost. The only reason I knew off the top of my head that they were included was because I use stuff like sport seats with 8 way adjustable controls including side bolstering, to rationalize why I spend so much $$$ on cars to my girlfriend who thinks that 300hp is way more than enough for passing and merging.

My current feeling is that the car should be $50k max with all taxes in. I therefore expect the MSRP for this configuration to be below $45k.

2008 BMW 135i coupe
Le Mans Blue metallic with Black Leatherette.

6 Speed Manual Transmission
M sport pkg
Aluminum Glacier Silver Trim

Do you expect this to be a realistic price for the configuration?

My current feeling is that I will cancell the order if the price comes in much over $45k but that may change. Then again I may just take the car and sell it for a few k over MSRP to some rich Toronto yuppie that has to have the first of a new model in town.
According to the released prices your build should be around...

135i - $41,700
Paint - $800
M Sport Pkg - $1,600
Trim - No charge
Total - $44,100

Which is under your $45k cut-off...hope this helps!

plus freight/pdi, taxes, admin fee...so you're probably around $49 k out the door.

Not really. He's in Toronto, so he'll pay PST+GST. His total will come to $52k.

I am going to go through with the order but it does not mean I am happy with the pricing. I am just glad I didn't order anything other than the M Sport package. I couldnt imagine paying 60k + for a fully loaded 1 series out the door. In my opinion all of the other 3 packages are a huge rip off.
