Powder coating in MA

Anyone have any recommendations for a good place to get a set of wheels powder coated in Mass or near by?

I am going to take mine to Rim and Wheel Works in Waltham to fix the curb rash and get powder coated.

Cool, any experience with them? I Emailed with a guy at Wheel Repair Specialist in Peabody. He recommended painting my wheels instead of Powder because they're forged, which is something that I had read before as well.

No experience with them. They have written lots of articles in the local BMWCCA magazine and seem to know what they are doing. I guess that I will find out in a few weeks...

I just talked to that place in Waltham. They wanted $214 a wheel to refinish my wheels + 30 per wheel for mounting and balancing and it would take 7-10 business days. I was hoping to do better than that.

For $215 a wheel I'd just buy arc8s

I've taken many wheels to ACE performance Tewksbury, ask for Bear and tell him Aaron sent you. They do a great job. I have a set of wheels there now and they should be ready any day. If you have any questions, let me know.

Well, I can now tell you guys where NOT to go to get you wheels done. I figured I'd try "Wheel Repair Specialists" in Peabody, since they were about 200 dollars cheaper and closest to my house. I should have known better when the guy who took my wheels wrote down what I wanted done in pencil on one of the wheel boxes, gave me a price estimate pulled out of his ass and gave me the time estimate of "A week or two". Well I went back today now almost 2 1/2 weeks later since they don't answer their phone or bother returning calls. They barely knew who I was and had not even begun to work on my wheels, so I just took them back, which they were dicks about. 2 1/2 weeks wasted, but at this point I'm just glad to have my wheels and tires back.

I had a very similar experience with them. I think my wheels were there about the same amount of time, if not more.

I forgot to get back to this. Got my wheels back from Baer, in the time he quoted, for the price he quoted, with good communication the whole time and they look great! Definitely recommend Ace performance. Not only are they wheel guys, but a BMW shop too.
