no ego was hurt, im just pissed off that "some vendors" here edit their photos to make the other lighting setups brighter than they actually are in the sun and use those photos as advertisements to get people to buy them. false advertisement.
no lighting will be brighter in direct sunlight unless you can somehow stuff the sun in the housing itself and in that case you'd be blind for life. /rant end.

Oh yeah. No doubt! Its really hard to get a good idea from a picture as it is, much less when the pictures has been edited. Love your car by-the-way!

Hey guys sorry that I didn't post up a review yet but I will very soon.
I can confirm what John said as well as others that these are daytime visible even in direct sunlight. If you want proof look at ANY other OSS kit on 3 series cars where the picture was taken in direct sunlight or during the day. The LS1 and LS3 kits use very similar if not the same type of rings OSS uses. To be honest I don't expect my pictures to come out any better than what has already been posted on these forums but I can confirm that any LS1, LS3, and OSS kits look the same. I do agree that John's picture of the kit for some reason looks like the lights are not on but trust me in person you can tell when they are on. I actually had a 2011 328i coupe as a loaner while my HPFP recall was being done so I got to compare the new OEM LED angel eyes compared to the LS1 and the LS1 are just are visible during the day. There are differences which I'll compare in my review but just want to let everyone know that. -Dave |
