BMW 335i

I know that we have been punk'd by Tine. But just to clear things up. The BMW 335i will exist. they will make to the US in about August or September hopefully. I have ordered one from my dealership and gave a $500 deposit on the vehicle. You can ask any dealership about this car. they have been told they can answer questions about it, but not to just give out info (make the buyers ask, don't offer info). He said that it will cost about 1000-2000 dollars more than the 330i. So the info has been good, up until the point that they suggested engine sizes. The salesman told me that it will be a turbo charged engine. He didn't specify how many turbos, or the size of the engine, but I am not going to hazard a guess based on recent events. THIS IS TRUE.

Hi.

I'm new here. Reading this as a guest for a long time.

Been pissed off by Tine (and Speedfreak), because I'm into buying a new 3-series when my lease runs out next year. 335i coupe would be perfect.

But some automotive media have also reported about 335i turbo.

What if SpeedFreak and Tine are right after all?

Anyone with reliable information here?

I don't give the crap about 335I or whenever it will come. So much over that. All 335i threads should be removed until it'll be announed by BMW. I won't click on any 335i from now on if there'll be any.

Nitrous? So does that mean we get the "exploding block" upgrade for free?

The point is that they acted as if they had reliable information when in reality, they were making all the details up.

The fact that BMW would up the displacement of engines mid way through a life-cycle is not breaking news...

Its the details (turbo vs. non) and timing of the release that is so harmful. That, and the fact that this wasn't some one weekend trick they played. They kept up the charade for MONTHS... That is a willfully harmful act and I think its pretty damn childish.

I have been busy the last few days to check the forum, so what's the OFFICIAL word out BMW NA? Regardless of the outcome I opted for a MY07 E90.

AAAH. A voice of reason and sanity.

A dealer will be glad to deposit your $1000.00 in his account for your order of a E155lt Twin turbo 6-wheel drive model year 2009. The fact that a dealer will take an order for it means nothing.

Actually, no more "E"s. BMW will be moving to "F" designations for their engineering codes, starting with the next 7 Series.

To all those who were told by their dealer that the 335i is coming, how about providing me with your dealer contact so I can call. I want to put my name on the mailing list. My dealer knows nothing about the 333i. Help!!
