Wheel Noise?

I've had my 128i for about 6 months now and since this is my first BMW I'm wondering if it's normal to hear so much wheel or road noise. I'm not sure if it's the RFTs, or axel noise, or transmission. This is also my first rear wheel drive vehicle. It's not real loud, but noticeable - I can hear like it's winding down when I'm slowing to a stop. Anyone?

My SP 128i came with Goodyear NCT5 rubber and has been commendably quiet. If yours has the same tires, rather than the Euforis, you might have the dealer check it out. The last time I had objectionable road noise on a BMW (other than when running Q rated snow tires), it was a bad wheel bearing - but the car had 90,000 miles on it.
