I use the rear fogs when w@nkers come up behind me with their front fogs or spotlights blinding me. If I'm getting tailgated for a long period I just do what Woosh suggests and slowly slow right down.

But anyway, the lights would do the job just fine to confuse them and scare them sh*tless for that split second lol

I do this, if they want to tailgate im happy to keep dropping my speed. I've had a guy stay on my ass down to 20km/h in an 80zone. When he goes to overtake I just gun it

Speaking of unmark police cars, a friend a few years back got tailgated by un-mark cops on the southeast freeway. He got pissed off and took off because he tailgated him for a few exits. He was charged for speeding and went to court over that.

Got to be careful sometimes with those un-marked police cars. I have seen, camery, GTI, black commodor ute, liberity, Kluger, Magna sport and obviously sh!t load of commodore and falcons everywhere. I heard there is also an un-mark Skyline on the M1 too.

Yeh the coppers are running more and more 'ordinary' cars and are becoming hard to spot.

I wonder what they'll do when I activate my headlight washers and coat their windscreens with a thick film of gunk

My first speeding fine happened like that. Riding along at the 60k speed limit on my first motorbike (a massive 100cc 2 stroke) with this massive GTHO Falcon (showing my age here) a few inches from my rear wheel scaring the sh*t out of me. I accelerated to about 75k and turned off at the next right, and the guy followed me and put on the blue lights hidden behind the grille.

There's good cops and A**holes.

Cheers,
Alf

The best way to p*ss off a tailgater is just to slow down.

Got high-beamed last night after a guy was doing 65km/h on the Bradfield Highway and we passed him on the left after pulling out in front of us to sit in the right lane.

Got high-beamed and took about 4 seconds for my mirror to dim and that was that.

This is also my technique... I dont hit the brakes like others, I'm scared they wont brake and hit me. I need to get my rear fog light activated some how.

Maybe a simplistic view, but instead of the headlight wipers, slow down, brake check test why not just change lanes and let them pass? A lot of comments obviously were instances where there was more than one lane of traffic.
