I have a square setup with rs3 currently, but have run 275-35/18 all around previously. ( grand am continental take offs. ).

Picked up a set of 295/30/19s for the rear. Will be October before I get them installed though. I guess if Mattms running 315s I don't have to worry about getting these stuffed under the fenders.

I was running the 295s for the first half of the season until I found the Hoosier 315s would fit.

I'm still in awe that 315s fit. Below is a pic of the 295s I just grabbed. They seem ridiculously wide. A full 12" each

10x19 in the rear on Forgestars built with a 6mm offset (no spacers) for the ¼" ± of SCCA stock class rules. They are Hoosier A6 Racing Tires, 315/30-19. In the front, they are 9x19, same 6mm offset but the 265/30-19 Hoosier tire. Anything larger rubs the hell out of the liners.

Nope not PSSs. They are Conti Sport 3s and I picked them up for next to nothing. They were just too good of a deal not to at least give them a try. In no way as good a tire but I figured with that much meat they should make up for less grip. If not then I'll just have more fun burning them up

I've got to instruct at an event in mid-Oct so I'm waiting until after that weekend to put the new (to me) tires on. Will post an update once they are on!

Running a 265F / 315R combo aren't you concerned about understeer given the relative disparity in contact patch? I run RS3s 265F and 285R and it still understeers somewhat although it's not bad.

Lol, no. You can't get enough tire on the rear of this car.

In the front with no toe amd about -1.7 camber you will not have trouble with the car's turn in. If you have less, say -1.1 then you will not turn and you will eat front tires.

This car's big issue is getting power to the ground.

I guess the real question is how much tire is too much on a 10 inch wheel?

How does the 315 fit? I would think there is some bulging?

Matt will have to answer that.

I ran the 295 in the rear the whole year andwill probably run a set of 315's next year but the 295 is probably just right for the 10 inch wheel.
