Pic Request: LCI Backlines Next to Conventional LCI Tail Lights
I figure this may be a long shot, but does anyone have a photo of the LCI Blackline tail lights installed on one side with the regular LCI tail lights on the other? I like the look of the LCI design, but I've never been a fan of tinted lights on a car and I can't decide if the blacklines are worth the extra money over the untinted LCI lights.

Thanks, that's exactly what I was looking for. I'm liking the contrast that the Backlines have.

Go for it Alex, you'll like them. Subtle difference but worth the extra cash in my opinion.

You can put 70% tint film over them and get the same effect for $15. Takes all of 10 minutes too.

He does have the pre-LCI tail lights so it wouldn't look the same. He could buy the LCI tail lights and tint them though for a similar look.

Yeah, I still have the original pre-LCI tail lamps. Plus, in looking at the LCI Blacklines, they seem to be more than just tinted. I've also never been a fan of applying tint to otherwise normal lights. |

I've had them both in my hands, they are just tinted. And I'm not sure why you'd have reservations on applying film tint to anything, it comes right off if you decide you don't like it.
Maybe I'll do it to mine this week so I can show you a comparison. Here's a tint job I did on my old mustang, first pic is what the stock tail lights look like, second is my car with them tinted. 02 Mustang GT by Matt Steele, on Flickr Just as glossy as stock lights, no creases bubbles or cut lines.
