Just drove from Manhattan to Harrisburg, PA on my 135i. Car read 28.7mpg, average speed was 76mph. Filled the tank right when I got on I-78 in Jersey and filled it again when I got home and the computer had the consumption spot on.

If you lay off the boost, the car can get very nice MPG figures, but damn it is hard. Besides I didn't buy the car for its MPG no., that was the last thing on my mind, but it sure is a nice bonus.
