White loses some of the lines of the car in bright light. The metallic nature of the SG paint really shows off the lines in bright or low light conditions. I got Space Gray and adore it. Most white cars around here are driven by guys with blowouts and gold chains.

thanks for the feedback! I plan on chosing a brownish or red interior.. and adding a matte black grill. I think I might go to with SG

Really don't like the grey!

After spending time at the dealer yesterday looking at all the color combos ...

white over red is the best.

It's your choice.

Either way both are nice. I'd probably go white for practicality reasons. (Stays cool in summer, no extra charge for it, really pops when detailed.)

I have an AW and a guy here in my building has a Space Grey. I'd go for AW hands down.

I think the white exposes the car's curves so much better and it looks more aggressive in my opinion. I like the space grey color on the 3 series but for some reason I don't like it on the 1er... Feels too "still" and passive, dunno how to describe it.

only downside to the white is that it is a real pain in the ass to keep clean. however when it's properly cleaned and sealed it looks shockingly amazing, especially when it's sunny outside. also, white is good to hide scratches, which will happen sooner or later no matter what...

Your car is sweet. I've never been a fan of black wheels, but your car pulls it off well.
BTW, what % tint you have...

Why white?
• Easy to clean and keep clean
• Easy to match paint
• Safer because it stands out against all backgrounds except snow
• Really pops at night when darker colors disappear
• Car stays cool in the sun so it's easy on the paint and components
• Minimal fading (yellowing) in the sun
• Easy to polish as swirls don't show
• It's rare
where did you get your windows tinted? I'm like 80 miles from philly...

also what % is that?

Thanks. I have 35% tints all around. I think its the perfect percentage cuz it looks darker when you're looking in from the outside because of the black interior, but looking out, its not too dark.

Signed up because I have to ask you about your black rims. They look amazing... what kind/size are they and where'd you get um from? I'm searching for some for my 09 AW vert.

OP: I vote AW, looks stunning when clean!

It was done by

Not sure of the percentages but went with the darkest available for the back side windows and "legal" on the drivers and passengers door and back window. The photo makes them look a little darker than in real life.

I debated between Black and SGM... I personally believe that SGM shows off the cars' beautiful lines the best, went with it, and haven't regretted it!

You're going to be happy with either really. I know I would have. SGM does look wicked at night though.

i vote white, as grey to me looks good on a mini van where you never have to clean it or if you want to fade away.

my preference of course, i know lots of guys love grey but there's tons of grey cars out there and i think it's fine for a daily on say a 3 or 5 but it doesn't have the pop i look for on a sporty car.
