Major changes need opinions

So what I am doing is currently undergoing some drastic changes to my 128i and want some opinions. See below! Currently my mods are:

BMW Performance Grills
BMW Performance Side Skirts
BMW Performance CF Spoiler
BMW Performance Aero Rear Bumper
BMW Performance Exhaust
BMW Performance E-Brake
Aluminum Pedals/Dead-foot
iCarbon CF Mirror Caps
32% Tinted Windows
Shadowline Exterior Trim

Now what I have planned are these:

Alufelgen Gunmetal 18" wheels (can be seen on white 1'er here) - http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showt...t=CS7+gunmetal

BMW Performance Stripes (can be seen on white 1'er here) - http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showt...rmance+Stripes

BMW Performance Stripes + BMW Performance 269 Wheels (can be seen on white 1'er here) - http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showt...highlight=alow

BMW Performance 313 Wheels (can be seen on white 1'er here) - http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=595125

Updated: My question is whether or not I should go through with the stripes and if I should get gunmetal CS7's or the BMW Performance 269's. I think they look really good with the mods that I have and would really contrast well with the Alufelgen wheels especially the gunmetal color. Let me know what you guys think! This should all be done before Christmas then I can post some pics.

sorry, but I think the M stripes are pretty dainty looking.

So I am assuming no one likes the stripes regardless of other cosmetics?

With all these improvements and the GUNMETAL wheels, your one-twenty eight should look rather awesome even without the stripes. No stripes IMO. Better off putting the money into suspension mods and associated drop.

My initial thought was to not do the stripes, until I clicked on the link provided. Actually looks quite nice!

No stripes. IMO they are tacky and tasteless.

Go with the gunmetal wheels. They will look fantastic

This is what I thought to begin with. But it seems like most of the forum here doesn't like the vinyl aspect on the car

Once I clicked the link also, they look great. I am not sure if its the time of day or the great camera, but the contrast goes well even with his not so modified car.

Still in limbo! Will have to decide soon enough!

Anyone here opposed to me switching out the gunmetal CS7's with the BMW Performance 269's? Thoughts? I came across a hell of a deal and would score me a full set for under the price of CS7's.

I'm biased, as I like to keep upgrades, mods, etc. OEM. Looks like you've done the same; and in that regard, maybe go with the 269s?

That being said, wheels are an exception in my mind: a high quality, well-fit brand looks great.

True. I like OEM mods and might choose to go OEM wheels as well to keep it up.

Unless you're keeping your 128 when you take delivery of your new car, I say return it back to stock and get it ready to be sold/traded in.

Stripes are easily reversible if you don't like em.

Style269

Go style 269, I like 313 better, but both are nicer than most non-BMWP rims (csl replicas included)- again just my opinion- and a minority one at that seeing as MOST aftermarket rims on 1ers seem to be rims I dont like

I say get another rim. Too many people get the csl style rim. And on top of that you can't get them in 19" like the originals. That was a killer for me. VMR has some cool wheels that care similar to the CSLs. Check em out

Thanks guys. If I can't get the BMW 269's I am going for the gunmetal CS7's. Not coming in 19" doesn't really make it or break it.
